We all need to dance a little more in and through life. It brings you joy, it’s good for your body, soul, and spirit, and it usually gives you sweet memories that later bring a smile to your face.

Don’t forget to dance a little while prepping the ingredients for these smashing soups.

I like the creamy carrot soup best when it’s chilled. So, regularly when I make my juices and smoothies in the morning I also juice some carrots to create this soup.

Sharing a wonderful raw food meal with loved ones is one of my favorite things to do. You get to enjoy each other’s company, your tastebuds are having a party, and your body is fueled with powerful nutrients.

Falafel bowls are always a hit. They look gorgeous, it taste ah-may-zing, and it is fuel for your gut microbiome because of the falafel ingredients and of course you can add all sorts of other goodies to a bowl that your gut loves, such as sprouts.

And even though the falafel tastes great by itself, I do love to add a delicious dressing to make it even better.

This time I created a caper dressing and it turned out so good that I thought: let’s share it with you! Here it is. Don’t forget to save this post so that you can always turn to it whenever you need it.

Caper Dressing Recipe

Ingredients
1 cup (120 g) sunflower seeds, soaked 4 hours
2 oz (65 g) capers
1/2 cup (20 g) parsley
2 tbsp tahini
1 garlic clove, minced
2 tbsp lime juice
1/4 cup (60 ml) caper liquid
1 cup (235 ml) water

Method
Blend the ingredients in a high-speed blender until smooth.

Tropical smoothie bowl recipe

Ingredients
5 bananas
1 cup pineapple
1 tbsp beet powder
4-5 passionfruit

Blend the bananas, pineapple, and beet powder in a high-speed blender until smooth.

Top with passionfruit. 

Grab a spoon and dig in.

  • Do you love bagels but don’t like to eat sticky gluten ones? I hear you. No worries, you can enjoy delicious gut-nourishing bagels too!

I love to use sprouted buckwheat in my bagels. Buckwheat is healthy and good for your gut. 

Sprouting buckwheat is easy but you need to make sure to use fresh buckwheat kernels. When using old buckwheat kernels they won’t sprout well and it will turn into a smelly mess.

Rinse the buckwheat kernels thoroughly. Then soak the buckwheat kernels overnight (about 8 hours). Again, rinse thoroughly and then either put the kernels in a sprouting jar or colander. Rinse the buckwheat once in the morning and once at the end of the day. In 1-2 days your buckwheat sprouts are done and ready to be used to create scrumptious bagels.

  • If you want to change your lifestyle you need to start doing things differently.
Doing things the same way, gives the same results.

A healthy lifestyle is more than food alone but once you start to embrace a fruit and plant food lifestyle you will see that other areas of your life clear up too and/or you start to feel a deep urge for change.
