Wheatgrass juice, often hailed as “liquid gold,” is a powerful elixir extracted from the young shoots of the wheat plant. Its vibrant green hue is a testament to its rich nutrient content, offering all sorts of health benefits that can significantly enhance your overall well-being.

Wheatgrass juice is a nutritional powerhouse, overflowing with vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and enzymes that provide a concentrated dose of essential nutrition. One of my all-time favorite juices is pineapple wheatgrass juice. My incredible handsfree juicer can easily extract the juice of both pineapple and wheatgrass and turn it into a super delicious juice.

Grow your own

Incorporating wheatgrass juice into your daily routine can be a transformative addition, offering a plethora of health and vitality benefits. So, why not make this green elixir a part of your wellness journey? And you know what? It is so easy and inexpensive to grow your own wheatgrass.

Get yourself a bunch of seed sprouter trays. Buy a bag of wheatgrass seeds and soak about a cup of seeds overnight in water. Rinse the seeds and evenly distribute them to the sprouter trays. Cover the seeds with another (closed) tray, and put some weight on top of it (I usually grab a few books). Spray them every day lightly with some water until the roots start to grow. Once the roots start to grow, you can add water to the bottom of the closed tray. Check every day to see if there is still water available for the wheatgrass to grow. Usually, you’ll have in a week a beautiful tray of wheatgrass. The best part? After cutting the wheatgrass to create juices, you can let the wheatgrass regrow to enjoy more juice for another round!
